Major announcements!

I’m very pleased to say we’ve been working diligently on the Solidarity Rock project. Over the past few months, we’ve managed to make good connections with musicians, promoters and fan, and will be hosting several Solidarity Rock benefits, tours and parties between now and the summer.

Amazing things are happening in Edmonton, as well as Winnipeg. We’re going on the road with Kids on Fire! From March 24 - April 3, we’ll be bringing the prairie sound from Friendly Manitoba across Cuba! Kids on Fire will play shows with Arrabio, from Trinidad, Cuba. This will be a historic tour, because it’s the first time a Cuban rock band has ever toured Cuba.

I feel pretty lucky to be able to head back and spend time with my good friends. I’m looking forward to a lot more of this…

I’m always struck by the similarities between Edmonton and Winnipeg. They’re both prairie towns with good people doing good things. So it’s great to be able to work with the creative community in Winnipeg again. We’re doing great things, here’s a list of events coming up in the next few months!
