Solidarity Rock is an artist run organization working to partner musicians, artists and creative people in Cuba, Canada and eyond. Since 2008, we have been working to collect instruments and musical equipment to help our friends in Cuban rock bands find their own way through music.

Valentine's Day Sockhop →

Friday night, we’re throwing an old fashioned Sock Hop to raise some money and have a good time to benefit our friends in Cuban rock bands. Starting at 8PM at the Rossdale Community hall, right beside Telus Field in Edmonton we’re going to be sending our love to Cuba. Come down and enjoy signature cocktails (The Jefe and the Pinko), beer by Steam Whistle, food my Michael Wilson-Scorgie of Nomad Catering, piles of raffle prizes donated by Edmonton’s independent business community, Edmonton’s raddest, playing all your favorite tunes and all your friends and enemies dancing the night away.

Seriously, it’s going to be good.
